Compared to the conventional system which involves stockpiling, well-trained staff, middle men and stockpiling, with 3D printing all you require are a few 3D printers and spools of filament. These can be used to create vital items such as butterfly needle holders, pipe clamps, screwdrivers and bottles. These items will be available readily, increasing the efficiency of these relief efforts. Therefore, we can see the immense potential of 3D printing, alongside its benefits which include and are not limited to sustainability, increasing complexity of products and being environmentally friendly.
